Malhamdale from New Close

Malhamdale from New Close - Yorkshire Dales

The mid December sun rose 30 minutes before i made this image. I had to patiently wait for the sun light to cast it's warm rays over the foreground before tripping the shutter. Malhamdale is bathed in the first sunlight of the morning. Pendle Hill looms in the distance. Nikon D800 35mm lens f16 1/8 second. 15/12/2013 08.51
